Gutter Whitening is a specialty service that we provide to remove the grey streaks from the face of the gutter. These grey streaks are often referred to as tiger stripes. They are a natural occurrence when you have aluminum gutters and an asphalt shingle roof. This natural occurrence happens when the granules of the asphalt become loose and fall down the roof picking up an electrical charge as it falls. When these granules hit the aluminum gutter they transfer the charge resulting in the grey streaks otherwise known as oxidation. We clean the oxidation off of the gutters using specially formulated cleaners to remove the oxidation.
